For the past eight years, the CSP-Corcoran Honor Guard has been asked by the Visalia Veterans Association to present a 21-gun salute on Memorial Day during the Avenue of Flags event.

The Avenue of Flags consists of nearly 1,800 flags that were draped over the casket of a veteran. They are flown each Memorial Day in a tribute to veterans.  Each flag bears the name of the veteran whose casket it adorned and is given a number for its place in the Avenue of Flags. The Avenue of Flags committee is dedicated to the preservation and storage of the flags.
