DVI welcomes fall with first Family Day


On Saturday, September 22nd Deuel Vocational Institute welcomed fall with its first Family Day. Custody and medical staff joined together with their families to host a car show, barbeque, dance, play in jolly jumps and get their faces painted. About 200 people were in attendance to enjoy all the festivities.

The planning committee consisted of T. Morris, M. Virrey, J. Solario, M. Davalos and C. May with em-cee Lt. George Paul. Donated prizes were raffled off with hundreds of dollars in proceeds going to benefit the Boys and Girls Club.
