Retired CDCR employee, Edward Estacio, passed away on Oct. 11 in Bakersfield. He was 67.

He is survived by six sons, one daughter, a multitude of grandchildren and one great-grandson, as well as a host of friends made throughout his lifetime.

During his 27-year correctional career, Ed worked at several institutions/facilities, beginning with the Correctional Officer Academy held at the California Training Facility, San Quentin State Prison, Crittenden Center Work Furlough Program, the California Correctional Center, CSP-Corcoran, Leo Chesney Community Correctional Facility and Wasco State Prison.
