This month, the California Medical Facility (CMF) introduced groups of Enhanced Outpatient Program (EOP) inmates to the new EOP Treatment Center.

Through a federal court order and funded by AB900, this three-story treatment center will provide ample space for Mental Health Clinicians to deliver therapy and mental health services to the mentally ill patients who can be treated in an outpatient setting.

The EOP Treatment Center has 75 to 80 various staff members – including clinicians, psychologist and support staff – that meet with EOP inmates to provide mental health services.

The construction on this building started in March 2011. Below are some images of the new center.
