CRC donates 200 confiscated cell phones to aid domestic violence victims

Cynthia Y. Tampkins, California Rehabilitation Center (CRC) warden, recently presented the Alternatives to Domestic Violence Center of Corona with 200 cellular phones, which were confiscated from inmates.

The cellular phones will be used to aid victims of domestic violence in the Corona/Norco area.

“This is a great opportunity for CRC to give to this organization and make amends to those women who may have suffered at the hands of an incarcerated inmate,” Warden Tampkins said.

Hundreds of cellular phones are confiscated from inmates at CRC annually.
