FSP food sale raises more than $5,100 for charity

Warden Rick Hill of Folsom State Prison (FSP) recently presented a check to Sacramento Kings basketball play-by-play announcer Grant Napear for more than $5,100.

Twenty inmates from the prison’s Men’s Advisory Council held a food sale fundraiser that generated the donation amount – $5,164.90 . The funds were donated to the Future Foundation of Sacramento.

Napear, the also a program host at (CBS Sports 1140), accepted the donation on behalf of the Future Foundation of Sacramento.

The organization provides volunteers who mentor youth and provides scholarships to youth in underserved neighborhoods that reside in the greater Sacramento region. Napear is a member of the organization’s Board of Directors and is a volunteer mentor.
