The Sierra Conservation Center (SCC) recently held its bi-annual graduation ceremony for 77 inmates.

Ray Robinson addresses SCC graduates.

In addition to 63 who passed the General Education Development (GED) test, 13 inmates earned vocational certificates and one inmate received his Associate of Arts Degree from Coast Line Community College.

Guest speaker Ray Robinson provided a very motivational speech.  He is a former inmate from SCC who paroled in 1999.

He has since received a Certificate of Rehabilitation and has earned his law degree.

Mr. Robinson took the California State Bar exam in July and is awaiting the results.
