CHCF staff helps 14 needy families

The employees at the newly opened California Health Care Facility (CHCF) in Stockton consisting of the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, Department of State Hospitals (DSH) and the California Correctional Health Care Services in partnership with the Women’s Shelter Youth & Family Services and the Health Careers Academy (a charter high school in the Stockton Unified School District) provided Christmas gifts for 14 needy families totaling 55 members have a joyous holiday.

The institution’s Community Resource Manager Kim Petersen partnered with these and similar programs the past two years, providing staff the opportunity to give to their community by helping those less fortunate.
