An estimated 200-plus parolees under the supervision of the CDCR’s Division of Adult Parole Operations (DAPO), recently attended a Resource Fair in Sacramento County to help them assimilate back into the community.

DAPO Deputy Director Robert Haase welcomed the parolees. He also thanked the Sacramento Community Based Coalition (SCBC) for sponsoring the Resource Fair.

At the former Mather Air Force Base, parolees last month met representatives from organizations and agencies for presentations of opportunities for education, employment, housing, health resources, and anti-drug abuse treatment.

The hope is to offer the treatment and education that can help give parolees the life skills and job readiness they need to successfully become self-reliant and productive citizens
