The California Medical Facility donated $1,500 from a food sale and provided more than a dozen refurbished bicycles for various fund-raising events that added another $1,000 to help Orchard Elementary School in Vacaville build a kindergarten playground.

Landon Bravo, Community Resource Manager, was among CMF representatives attending the opening ceremony March 7.

The CMF Inmate Leisure Time Activity Group was among the listed donors, along with the Vacaville Public Education Foundation, various businesses and private donors and the families of Orchard Elementary School students.
