Sierra Conservation Center staff presented a check for $900 to the Tuolumne County Victim Witness Assistance Center.

The funds were raised with a bake sale during National Crime Victims’ Week by SCC staff with the help of Martinez Catering.

The Victim Witness Assistance Center provides services to victims and witnesses of crimes and aims to reduce the trauma they may experience in the wake of these crimes.

Other staff donations, including stuffed animals, coloring books and crayons, will be delivered to the Victim Witness Assistance Center in early May.
