The California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation is betting recruitment opportunities will lure Nevadans to the Golden State.

On Friday, Sept. 5, Officer Candi Allen, with the Office of Peace Officer Selections, and Lt. Gregory Crowe, the Public Information Officer at High Desert State Prison, traveled to Reno, Nevada, to assist in CDCR’s recruiting drive.

Officer Allen and Lt. Crowe were on the America Matters “Find a Job Fridays” radio show, broadcast on 101.3 FM Renegade Radio and 1060 AM NBC Sports Radio.

Officer Allen and Lt. Crowe discussed the current need for Correctional Officers in the state of California and the opportunity for Nevada residents to join CDCR.
