CDCR Legislation official recognized for outstanding efforts in Sacramento County

A California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation official was recognized for going above and beyond.

Rosalinda Rosalez, CDCR’s Chief, Office of Legislation, was recently recognized by the Sacramento County Probation Department as an Outstanding Volunteer for her work in being one of two founding members of The Yoga Group, which teaches yoga programs at Sacramento County Juvenile Hall on weekends.

The Yoga Group formed in 2011 and is estimated to volunteer approximately 100 hours per year on the weekends. The group now has teachers from all across Sacramento involved in volunteering through the Yoga Group to teach youth the practice of yoga.

The recognition was presented April 7.
