Expect to find several Correctional staff members serving meals on April 30, all for a good cause.

The Tip-A-Cop fundraiser benefits Special Olympics and from 5-9 p.m. on April 30, Chili’s restaurant at 2001 Harbison Drive in Vacaville will host law enforcement officers from the region.

Several staff members from California State Prison, Solano, will be hustling for tips to be donated to Special Olympics of Northern California.

Part of the Law Enforcement Torch Run, the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation has long been a supporter of the fundraising effort. Chili’s restaurants across Northern California will be participating in the event.
