I know we always talked about fishing, Gillette. God be with you, my friend.

    Officer David Gillette,

My thoughts and prayers are with your family and friends during this difficult time. I am still in shock to the news of you passing away. This is extremely difficult for me to process. We often talked about graduating the academy. We talked about our first day at work. We talked about retirement but we never talked about our special assignment once God called for us.

I can clearly remember you telling me, “Hey Hector, how are you buddy.” I will miss your motivational words during my difficult times. Thank you!

Friends like you are hard to find these days, I am glad you gave me the opportunity to know you on a personal and professional level. Rest in peace!

    Cuidate mi hermano!

May God brighten and welcome you to him. You alway had a smile and a kind word when we worked or in passing. I will miss you, it is true the good die young.

    To your family,
My heart was grieved in David leaving us too soon; he loved his family and was a credit to you all. May God give you all peace and healing

Rest in peace my brother. I will miss our conversations especially about your fishing trips abroad. You left this world to early and I will miss you.

    To your family,
I am sorry for the loss of your son and brother. He always talked about his family and how he loved being an uncle, but loved to talk about how taking his mother to Vegas to see Celine Dion was the best. David was a terrific person, a great partner and someone I was proud to call my Brother in Law Enforcement. I will keep you all in my prayers.
