Prisons join forces with Chicano Correctional Workers to benefit charity

Ironwood State Prison

Chuckawalla Valley State Prison (CVSP) and Ironwood State Prison (ISP) joined forces with the Chicano Correctional Workers Association (CCWA) to assist 15 local families in celebrating Thanksgiving.

The families were selected by the staff at Riverside County Department of Mental Health/Blythe Substance Use Clinic. The families received a complete turkey dinner.

    This is a beautiful example of what Christmas is all about, helping and serving others.
