Much like the comments above, LPT Sophia Lopez was a happy, smiling, fun-loving, and a kind soul. She will be missed by her CCWF Family. She was one of those people who was so full of life, that you just cannot imagine hers ending so soon. FULL OF LIFE! She was a connector, she would not pass you without an infectious connection (smile or hello). Her presence leaves a hole, because she had a great energy about her. God bless her husband and child. May the Lord receive her into His bossom and fill the hurting hearts (left behind) with comfort and a sense of peace.

I still can’t wrap my head around your passing, it seems so unreal. We were just texting and I was telling you “just get better soon friend” when you were stressing about getting back to work. Life is so unfair and I will never quite understand us losing you way too soon. I will never forget all of our long talks, and good times at work and away.

I am so very saddened over the loss of this awesome friend and colleague. She was a hard working, fun individual who had a huge heart.

Wow, I can still hear your voice and laughter in my head. I already miss seeing your smiling face, your laughter and the good times and all the talks we had. Life seems so unfair; in an instant you were gone.

Thank you for the memories and your friendship.

    Until we meet again,

    R. Gutierrez, RN
