Kellie Kuka, AGPA, has been recognized as the Human Resources (HR) Excellence Award winner for November 2016.

“Kellie consistently goes above and beyond what is required in order to provide the best outcome for all her cases. Kellie maintains a positive and professional demeanor and goes out of her way to show empathy and compassion. Kellie is a large contributor to our overall reputation as being a premier customer service based organization that truly makes a difference in the lives of our employees,” according to the nomination. “In addition to the daily casework, Kellie recently took on the role of Co-Coordinator for the Regional Return to Work Coordinator/Workers’ Compensation Analyst Training. Kellie’s expertise and contribution to the training was invaluable; and the training was very well-received with extremely positive feedback from participants.”

Additionally, there were three nominees who received the ‘Honorable Mention’ award: Daniel Ruth from the Office of Personnel Services, Terence Smith from the HR Administration Unit, and Cesar Vaca from the Office of Personnel Services.
