I remember first meeting Mike during a job interview at CSP-Solano in 1996. After being hired, I got to know Mike really well. Mike was always upbeat, professional, and had a wisdom about him that exuded confidence and stability.

    He was a rock.

    Rest in Peace Mike.

Rest in Heaven uncle Michael. You will be missed. I don’t have a lot of memories, but what I remember is how you had such a calm and gentle demeanor. It is evident that you were a great man by the family you raised. I know you were very proud of your children and they were equally as proud of you. And I appreciate how you were the perfect mate for my aunt. God bless the Lyons/Smith family. Love Terrell.

Michael was my dear uncle and I miss him tremendously. It’s one thing to lose any of our family in behind the gates. But it really hurts and continues to hurt when the one you lose has been apart of my family since my birth. Uncle Mike Trisha loves you with all her heart. I will always cherish your words of wisdom, your smile, the foundation of faith you helped instill in me, your sermons, and playing the saxophone at three o clock service. You were a great man all around. Your home going was beautiful Unc! you would be proud of your crazy family. Thank you so much for sharing your life with us. Love Trisha.
