Once again, CSP-Sacramento stepped up to help those in need during the holiday season as 70 children were granted their “wishes” from Santa.

Staff chose a star from “wishing trees” placed in the facilities and generously granted numerous wishes, filling the Community Resources Manager’s office with toys during the month of December.

The Wishing Tree program is facilitated by Next Move, a non-profit foundation that has helped homeless families in the Sacramento area since 1972.

The presents were delivered on Christmas Eve to children who are currently residing in homeless shelters fostered by Next Move.

Next Move’s support to families include transition to permanent housing, living skills, parenting, employment readiness, health and mental health care and community support services.
