Veterans, cops, CCWF staff rally for struggling families

Thanks to the efforts of staff with the Central California Women’s Facility (CCWF), Merced Veterans of Foreign Wars Post (VFW) 4327 and the Chowchilla Police Department, children had a much brighter Christmas.

For their toy drive, the VFW donated seven bicycles and CCWF staff donated over 100 toys.

The Chowchilla Police Department saw to the delivery of the gifts to needy families in Chowchilla.

Staff from CCWF and the Chowchilla Police Department were all smiles at the toy drive.
