On March 8, Warden M. Eliot Spearman presented Lassen County Toys for Tots with a donation of $600.80 from the High Desert State Prison (HDSP) Charitable Fund, which is generated from offender fundraising activities throughout the year.

“It is wonderful to see the HDSP staff facilitate charitable activities, which in turn allows us to help underprivileged children in Lassen County.  Our offender population knows where their funds are going, which helps with their rehabilitation through reconciliation with the community at large,” said Warden Spearman. “I am proud of staff as they carry out the concepts in our new Mission Statement and our first Vision Statement at HDSP.”
