Avenal State Prison
The Criminology Advisory Board honored Avenal State Prison Warden Rosemary Ndoh as a new member. This advisory board is assembled to discuss current matters in law enforcement and to assist Fresno State University in ensuring relevant topics, statistics, and trends are being addressed in their curriculum.
As a former Fresno State Alumni who majored in multiple subject credentials, Warden Ndoh discussed her experience coming up in CDCR first on the educational side and transitioning into the administrative side to her current position as warden.
The board members range in occupatons from police chiefs to college professors.
Also, a student intern from Fresno University’s new “Project Rebound,”Arnold Trevino, shared his experience and spoke regarding the new program. Trevino happened to be a former “lifer” at Avenal State Prison who was the lead person in the Braille Program and has since paroled.
