CDCR Crisis Response Teams hold joint training at Calipatria

CDCR’s Crisis Response Teams trained in a full mission profile for hostage rescue and active shooter scenarios.

Calipatria State Prison (CAL) served as the training ground for various Crisis Response Teams (CRTs) from five institutions on July 15.

Centinela State Prison, CAL, Ironwood State Prison, Chuckawalla Valley State Prison and R. J. Donovan Correctional Facility CRTs conducted a joint training exercise at CAL. The teams trained in a full mission profile for hostage rescue and active shooter scenarios.

The training involved over 60 CRT personnel.

More than 60 CRT personnel took part in a multi-team training exercise on July 15.
