    To my brother Ron,
You had a good run with life on earth; now the time has come to prosper in the kingdom of God. I will miss you my brother and I look forward to seeing you once again, but when that time comes it will be forever. I am sad for your departure, but I will rejoice for your new life. You were a stand up correctional officer; one that displayed courage, tenacity, professionalism, and a sense of humor. We had a lot of laughs my brother and you will be sorely missed by us all.
    I love you my brother…

“I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.” 2 TIMOTHY 4:7

So we are always of good courage. We know that while we are at home in the body we are away from the Lord, for we walk by faith, not by sight. Yes, we are of good courage, and we would rather be away from the body and at home with the Lord.(2 Corinthians 5:6-8) Ronald Phelps Jr, you are safe in God’s arms now and forever. Romans 8:38-39, For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Romans 14:8, For if we live, we live to the Lord, and if we die, we die to the Lord. So then, whether we live or whether we die, we are the Lord’s.

Death cannot kill what loves beyond this world

The respect Ron received from CRC was genuine. CCWA,CCPOA, Women’s Football Team, CRC Administration all stepped up to help him. In return, Ron’s repeated strength and determination to continue to work, despite his pain was truly humbling. I am sure he is with the Lord and at peace.
    Rest in peace, brother.

Ron, you displayed a tremendous amount of grace and courage,
in dealing with your infirmity. May all our hearts be filled with the
same assuredness that you exemplified. Rest and rejoice brother…

there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying.
There shall be no more pain, for the former things
    have passed away.” Revelation 21:4
