James “Doin’ Damage” Davis, a Correctional Officer at Folsom State Prison, won the UCA light heavyweight state championship Saturday night.

UCA (United Combat Association) is the ranking organization for amateur fighters from law enforcement, firefighting and the military.

Davis won the title and retained his first-place ranking with a four-round, unanimous decision over Juan “Bad Blood” Bustamante, 28, with the Los Angeles Police Department’s Foothill Division.

Davis, a 30-year-old husband and father, attended Hiram Johnson High School in Sacramento and began boxing as a hobby about two years ago.
