About  375 children recently participated in a Santa’s Workshop hosted by Chuckawalla Valley State Prison (CVSP), Ironwood State Prison (ISP) and Inland Builder’s supply.

A child gets a hug from Santa at the event sponsored by the Chuckawalla Valley and Ironwood state prisons.

The event was held at Inland Builders Supply who provided a picture frame craft project for each child. The children sipped on hot chocolate and got the opportunity to have their photographs taken with Santa Claus.

CVSP provided a personalized ornament, name tags and a stuffed animal to each of the children.  The children were transported from to Inland Builders Supply by trolley, provided by Palo Verde Transit.  Volunteers for this event were provided by CVSP, ISP, the Future Farmers of America and cheerleaders from Palo Verde High School.
