California State Prison-Corcoran (CSP-COR) recently hosted the Bill Glass Ministries “Day of Champions Event.”

The program is designed to introduce inmates to athletes, entertainers and musicians who bring their testimony of salvation through Jesus in a non-stop stunt and music-driven evangelism event.

During the event, performers presented their talents along with their testimony.

The team of volunteers picks up where speakers leave off.  After the testimonies and musical performances, the volunteers went onto the prison yard to share the gospel with the incarcerated.

Last year nearly 8,000 volunteers helped to lead 44,914 inmates to life-changing decisions, the program reported.

During lunch, the teammates sat down on the yard with the inmates and ate a sack lunch. The event was held on Level I, Facility 3A and Facility 3C.

The national program is held at institutions throughout the state.
