High Desert State Prison

Every Christmas the employees of High Desert State Prison (HDSP) – with assistance from local businesses – raise money for the Lassen County Toys for Tots Program which is organized by the Lassen County Search and Rescue.

This year the HDSP employees donated $3,128 to the Lassen County Toys for Tots Program.  Each year Toys for Tots collects new, unwrapped toys for less fortunate children in the community.

This donation allowed the Lassen County Search and Rescue team to shop for toys to stock the area supply, ensuring that the requests from less fortunate children in the community are met.
