For CDCR employees who received layoff notices as a result of the Wave 4 Layoff process, Friday, Jan. 10, was their last day of work. Employees who accepted a Placement or are being Involuntarily Transferred and will remain employed with CDCR must have report edto their new work positions on Monday, Jan. 13.

Employees being laid off were eligible for re-employment beginning Saturday, Jan. 11. Re-employment eligibility remains in effect for a maximum of five (5) years or until an eligible employee receives a permanent full-time appointment to the classification from which he or she was laid off or demoted through, whichever comes first.

This marks the end of Wave 4 Layoffs.
