California State Prison-Corcoran, hosted the Bill Glass Champions For Life Event on Saturday, May 3.  Music echoed throughout the prisons walls as Evangelist James Gregory Henderson “Tiny” said it well, “Let’s Get Funky for Jesus”.

Approximately 95 Evangelists were in attendance where they worshiped and shared their faith of Christ with the inmates.  The days’ events included music and a high-wire stunt, while a NASCAR revved its engine up for the inmates. The day ended with a quiet lunch on the yard and closing worship.

The backbone of Bill Glass Champions for Life is its prison ministry.  Athletes, entertainers and musicians bring their testimony of salvation through Jesus Christ in a non-stop stunt and music-driven evangelism event.

Since 1972, Bill Glass and his crew of volunteer “teammates” have been visiting America’s prisons bringing inmates the message of the gospel in a way like no other ministry on Earth.
