Richard J. Donovan Correctional Facility (RJDCF) partnered with the Philippine Nurses Association of San Diego County (PNASD) to raise money for nurses scholarships and programs to benefit the community.
The non-profit PNASD works in the San Diego community, including regional hospitals, Navy and Marine bases.
On Sept. 26, Warden Daniel Paramo and staff joined PNASD for a lunch fundraiser to benefit the many community projects PNASD works on in the San Diego community.
“It is important to have a connection with the community and allow RJDCF to continue to support great organizations like PNASD,” said Warden Paramo.
According to RJDCF staff, the fundraiser was a success and they appreciated the wonderful food served by PNASD’s friendly and dedicated members.
