District Attorney and staff joins forces with CDCR to help charity

SONORA — Employees from Sierra Conservation Center (SCC) will wait tables for charity Friday evening as they don aprons to raise money for victims of crime.

SCC has partnered with the Tuolumne County District Attorney’s Office and Applebee’s to raise money and awareness during Victims’ Rights Week. From 6-10 p.m. on April 17, uniformed SCC employees will join Tuolumne County District Attorney Laura Krieg and her staff to wait tables and collect tips.

All proceeds will be donated to the Tuolumne County Victim Witness Assistance Center, which provides services to victims and witnesses of all types of crimes and seeks to decrease the incidence of unreported crimes.

“SCC is proud to team up with its law enforcement partners in the Tuolumne County community and support this worthy cause,” said SCC officials in a press release.
