To differentiate him from the famous Scotty Pippen, I nicknamed him “Scotty do-little” and he embraced it with laughter in his trademark bubbly cheerful style. He was a hard worker and valuable team member, a family man and an exceptional officer. The news of your passing has truly left a gaping hole in our hearts. We will miss your hearty laughter, your humor and friendship. Farewell, my friend. Prayers and blessings go out to his daughter and mother.
A great officer with a great personality. So easy to talk to and a down to earth kind of person. I will miss his smile and laugh. D medical clinic will miss his presence because by the sound of the shackles we know that “Scotty” has arrived. My deepest condolences to his mother, daughter and the rest of the Scott family. RIP Scotty.
I am still in shock after hearing of CO Scott’s passing. I will miss his smiles and his big bear hugs and the sounds of his shackles being thrown into the desk drawer every morning on Delta Yard. I will just miss him. He was a good guy and he loved his daughter so much. The last time we talked, he was telling me how he had started his daughter in golf lessons and how much fun he was having playing golf with her and watching her improve. He was so happy about that. Little did I know that was the last real conversation we would have. I am so sad that he is gone. I know he is resting peacefully now and watching down on his daughter and mother and all of his friends here at SVSP to help keep us safe. Rest in peace, my friend.
