When Pleasant Valley State Prison Warden Scott Frauenheim received a letter from Agua Viva Ministries asking for cellular phones, he knew PVSP could help.

Warden Frauenheim contacted Joseph Lopez, Investigative Services Lieutenant, to see what was available to donate.

The smartphones are used by the ministry personnel to communicate between each other for administration, facilities maintenance and operations.  An app is used to connect the cellphones directly to the internal phones system anywhere internet access is available.

PVSP was able to donate 22 phones to Agua Viva Ministries.

Agua Viva Ministries is a charitable, non-profit organization serving Ensenada, Mexico. Some of their charitable activities include the construction of houses, operating medical clinics (medical/dental and optometry) and other services based on the skills of the volunteers.
