Have you considered a career in youth corrections? The California Department of Correction and Rehabilitation’s (CDCR) Division of Juvenile Justice (DJJ), providing education and treatment to 678 youthful offenders, will host a unique Q&A on Wednesday, taking questions in real time via the department’s Facebook page.

Join the conversation at 12 p.m. PST Wednesday, Nov. 2, at www.facebook.com/cacorrections. DJJ representatives will answer your questions about careers at DJJ, including youth correctional officers, counselors, educators and more.

CDCR will allow staff to have access to Facebook during the live feed, so employees may watch the video and submit questions.

Recruiters from CDCR’s Office of Peace Officer Selection will answer technical questions about the application and testing process.
