Staff from two state prisons took to the court in basketball tournament to raise funds for a local high school.
California Correctional Center (CCC) Coyotes and High Desert State Prison (HDSP) Dawgs basketball teams competed in the Annual Basketball Tournament to raise money for the Lassen High School Boys Basketball Boosters.
Members of the community and staff from both institutions attended the game along with CCC Warden Suzanne Peery, HDSP Warden M. Eliot Spearman, and HDSP Chief Deputy Warden T. Foss.
The CCC/HDSP teams not only had a great time competing in the tournament, they also raised over $8,000 for the children in the community.
