In early May, the California Substance Abuse Treatment Facility and State Prison at Corcoran (SATF) executive staff, in concert with the Employees Activity Committee (EAC), dedicated time and effort to the well-trained employees of SATF to show their appreciation for their hard work and dedication they provide to the rehabilitation of offenders to help ensure their success while incarcerated in an institution.

Staff members were afforded the opportunity to visit various food trucks throughout the week and received a special appreciation gift put together by the EAC.

In addition to the appreciation gifts, 20 secret winners were placed inside random gifts and the winner received their choice of a gift card provided by the EAC on Friday, May 11. Employees expressed how much they enjoyed the week-long event.

“Thanks for the warm welcome into work on Friday,” said Recreational Therapist Rene Eller.

“I don’t overlook the hard working staff that makes an institution operate. Without the line staff and correctional employees that make this institution run on a daily basis, our success would not be possible. I want to thank each and every correctional employee and am honored to be the Chief Deputy Warden,” said T. Cisneros.
