An Officer of the Year and other honors were recently given to California State Prison, Los Angeles County staff.

Officer Daniel Sanchez is the recipient of the “Officer of the Year” award from the Parris Law Firm and Antelope Valley Bar Association.

Earlier this spring, Sgt. F. Villalobos who nominated him, introduced  Sanchez and presented him with the award at the annual Law Appreciation Day hosted by the Parris Law Firm to honor the members of the local law enforcement agencies of the Antelope Valley community.

The Lancaster Baptist Church also honored local Law Enforcement agencies.  This is an annual event and this year Officer John Cruz was honored for his dedication to public safety and commitment to the health and well-being of all CSP-LAC staff. Associate Warden Theresa Lewandowski shared detail with all about the career of Officer Cruz.

Additionally, Executive Assistant Alyssa Serafin was selected as CSP-LAC’s “Employee of the Month” for May 2018.

Officer Sanchez, Officer Cruz and Alyssa Serafin, thank you for your hard work, dedication and commitment to excellence.

LAC gave a big thank you to Lancaster Baptist Church.  In addition to honoring Officer Cruz, church members cooked over 600 meals for the staff of CSP-LAC.
