Officer R. Castellanos took two medals.

Staff members at California State Prison-Los Angeles County (CSP-LAC) had reason to cheer after the Police and Fire Games.

A few of their fellow employees took time out of their schedule to compete, representing CDCR and CSP-LAC.

Lt. G. Marshall, Officers N. Casanova and B. Rosas represented the CSP-LAC in the Police and Fire Games softball tournament, taking second place.

Fleet-footed Officer R. Castellanos did an amazing job in the 400 meter and 200 meter, taking gold in the 400 meter and bronze in the 200 meter.

Other competitors included Armory Sgt. D. Mason and Sgt. K. Stewart, a former LAC employee, who beat out all other agencies in the motocross and grand prix races at Glen Helen Raceway. The duo won gold medals.
