The Division of Juvenile Justice (DJJ) reported the recent passing of retired Office Technician Lynette Freidenfelt.

She began her career with the State of California in 1974, at the Department of Conservation as a Clerk Typist I.

Prior to her employment at the Division of Juvenile Justice (DJJ), she promoted to Clerk Typist II, Office Assistant and Word Processing Technician at the California Highway Patrol.

She joined the DJJ (then California Youth Authority) in 1984, as a Word Processing Technician at the Northern Reception Center and Clinic, in Sacramento.

In 2004, she transferred to the Headquarters Office where she worked as an Office Technician, and was again promoted to a Case Records Technician in 2006.

She retired in 2015.
