The California Substance Abuse Treatment Facility and State Prison at Corcoran (SATF/SP) Executive staff, in concert with the Employees Activity Committee (EAC), battled inclement weather on May 12 to show their appreciation to the well-trained employees of SATF/SP for their hard work and dedication. Furthermore, in support of the entire week, staff members were afforded the opportunity to visit various food trucks/vendors and received a special appreciation gift put together by the EAC.

In addition to the appreciation gifts, 200 secret prizes were placed inside random gifts handed out to staff.

“At times you can overlook the hard work an employee brings to an institution due to the daily struggles/changes we face day to day. You have to remember the bigger picture; it takes every stakeholder to make an institution run. I want to thank each and every employee and your hard work does not go unnoticed,” said Warden S. Sherman.
